YubiKey Manager 1.2

YubiKey Manager is the official utility from Yubico AB for configuring and managing YubiKey hardware security keys. Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, it includes both a graphical application and a command-line tool (ykman) to accommodate different workflows.

With YubiKey Manager, you can:

• View device details such as serial number, firmware version, and enabled applications
• Configure application settings for FIDO2/WebAuthn (set/change/reset PIN, manage resident credentials)
• Program OTP slots (Yubico OTP, OATH-HOTP, static password, challenge-response) and set touch policies
• Manage PIV smart card functions (generate or import keys, manage certificates, set/change PIN/PUK, configure the management key, and adjust touch policies)
• Adjust OpenPGP settings such as PINs and touch policies, and reset the application if needed
• Enable or disable USB and NFC interfaces, and toggle supported applications

Designed for both administrators and individual users, YubiKey Manager streamlines setup for strong multi-factor authentication, passwordless sign-in, and smart card–based workflows while giving you precise control over security policies and device behavior.
